TGIF! Our pal Jimmy Segenberger sticks around to talk DPS and if there should be an age limit/cutoff to be President. One month ago today: the Colorado Six walked-out and we haven't forgotten. Also - the Senate passes the debt ceiling bill last night. More on Biden's fall/trip/slip/set-up at the AFA yesterday. Big day on Wall Street. We wrap the hour with a classic call from one of our "foils" who said on air, "Joe Biden is a brilliant man." Yep, that generates a few reactions.See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.

Article II of the Constitution sets 35-years-old as the point of entry to be eligible for the Presidency. Steffan feels there should be an age CAP. Music from our film of the week "Almost Famous" throughout the show. Then - we play a portion of the President's remarks to the nation on the debt ceiling. He sounds old. Not strong.See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.

Our take: the Biden trip/fall at the AFA today is more than "just a trip." He's 80 years-old, wants to be re-elected, and this isn't the first time he's had falls, etc. Calls and texts on the topic. Sound from the fall. Why did Lauren Boebert miss last night's vote? More on the debt ceiling. We wrap with more texts to the studio.See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.

We begin with breaking news out of Brighton - three inmates escaped from the Adams County Detention Center - they're now back in custody as the story develops in our first segment. At the Air Force Academy today: President Biden tripped/fell today at the AFA grad ceremony. It's serious - not funny. We discuss with texts and calls and sound. Trump weighs-in. The debt ceiling vote pushes the disastrous bill to the Senate. See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.

We start with dipping in LIVE to the House of Representatives ahead of the vote on the "Fiscal Responsibility Act of 2023." Comments from Speaker Kevin McCarthy. In and out of live coverage from CBS News all hour. Great texts. McCarthy: "This will make Americans less dependent on China." Sadly, he couldn't/cannot say, "This will make Americans less dependent on America." Some severe weather this afternoon - we've got the latest on 1" diameter hail north of Denver. GOP Presidential nominees are growing: Scott, DeSantis, Christie and Pence challenging Donald Trump. There's an opioid job that pays up to $123,600 available now with the state. Why now? Then - the state is about to get a new education commissioner - a woman who was at the helm of DPS during the early SRO controversy. Not good. We wrap the hour with a chunk of our interview with legendary musician and CO (near) native Richie Furay.See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.
